When Brooks-Huff Tire & Auto Centers needed a new tire machine for its Towson, Maryland location, Operations Manager Todd Huff began calling around for financing. “We have several tire machines at each of our seven locations, and we replace them regularly,” says Huff. “This time we wanted to upgrade to a state-of-the-art model.”

New, automated tire machines remove a tire from a wheel and replace it with a new tire at the push of a couple buttons, saving time and steps, and lessening the chance of worker injury. “They’re basically touchless,” says Huff, “and they cost about $30,000.”

He didn’t have to make many calls, however, because one was to Nancy Pistorio at Madison Capital. “We like to work with local businesses, and I knew Nancy through a mutual friend,” Huff says. “She gave us a good rate, I submitted the contract for the equipment, and Nancy took over from there. She walked us right through everything, and within 24 hours we had approval and financing to get the equipment.  Madison Capital was fantastic to work with.”

Brooks-Huff Tire and Auto Centers are based in Hunt Valley, Maryland and have served the Baltimore area and southern Pennsylvania for 75 years. Huff’s grandfather, John S. Huff, Sr., opened the business in 1943 as an independent dealer for Goodyear, a status the company still proudly maintains.

Today three generations work together to provide complete automobile repair, tire service and customer satisfaction.  “To this day, we’re thrilled to be a part of our community and the number-one local tire and auto repair shop in Maryland and Pennsylvania,” says Huff. “We always like to say we ride on the wings of Goodyear; and Madison Capital has provided some extra lift.”
