Credit & Collection Manager / Credit Analyst

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

Perform credit investigation and analysis of commercial equipment leasing applications, including cash flow and financial statement analysis. 

  • Spread and analyze financial statements, corporate tax returns, personal financial statements, and other data in order to prepare lease evaluations. 
  • Review financial packet and determine additional information needed to proceed with the transaction. 
  • Render credit decisions on lease applications up to individual limit authority.
  • Employ problem-solving and negotiation skills to optimize outcomes on collection accounts.
  • Notify sales representatives of all conditions of lease approvals and inform the sales support staff of any non-standard documentation requirements. 
  • Attend credit committee meetings and present transactions to committee as appropriate. 
  • Coordinate with outside legal counsel on defaulted accounts.
  • Perform ongoing review of customers. Interact with executive team, sales managers, and sales representatives, as well as potential and existing customers. 
  • Complete work assignments within timeframes established. 

Qualification/Requirements: 

    • College degree with a concentration in Accounting or Finance, or minimum of 2 -3 years credit experience in a commercial lending environment 
    • Superior ability to analyze financial statements and tax returns
    • Must have excellent interpersonal, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. 
    • Must be reliable, detail oriented and possess the ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Must have a strong working knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
